Project Twitch: Maya in a Web Browser

Project Twitch is something exciting that we're previewing on Autodesk Labs: Maya in a web browser.

What's exciting about that? Well, first off, this is a way that you can try Maya out without the hassle of downloading and installing the software.

Beyond that, this opens up ways that you may use software in the future:

What if you only needed to use some software for a few days?
What if you needed to let others use your proprietary pipeline tools and didn't want to let the tools leave your control?
What if you were away from work and an emergency came up that required you to login and do some work?
These are just some ideas. We would love to hear what you think about them and Project Twitch.

Maya 2010 and Mac 10.6.2

Apple has released an update for Snow Leopard (10.6.2)
This update solves a few problems that users encountered in the old OS.

Manipulators displaying wrong colors
All Shaders display the same color
Refresh issues

There is still a know issue that we are currently investigating
( Backfaces on unlit surfaces drawn incorrectly )

If you encounter an issue please make sure you fill out the BUG report
