When you launch Matchmover 2012 Standalone, you may get this error:
A valid license could not be obtained by the network license manager.
If you are still unable to access a license, contact your system administrator.
Error [-1.359.2]
To solve this problem, you will need to copy the License.env file from the Maya application folder into the Matchmover application folder. This file needs to include the line:
MAYA_LICENSE_METHOD = Standalone
If you are running on a Mac:
- Applications > Autodesk > Maya2012 > right click on Maya and select ‘Show package contents’ > Contents > Copy License.env.
- Applications > Autodesk > MatchMover2012 > right click on Matchmover2012 and select ‘Show Package Contents’ > Contents > Paste the License.env.
If you are running on Windows:
- C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Maya2012/bin > Copy License.env.
- C:/Program Files/Autodesk/Matchmover2012 > Paste the License.env.
Thanks to David Lau for passing this on.

fantastic. i was receiving this error on both my Macbook Pro and Mac Pro with Maya 2012 Hotfix 3:
"Matchmover 2012 Standalone with Maya 2012 Standalone - Error [-1.359.2]".
i followed your instructions for copying over the license from Maya to MatchMover, and everything is now good. thank you for posting the fix :-)
