When working in Maya HIK, it is important to know that currently the retargetting is only supported with skeletons with default rotate axis and rotate order.
In order to change your rotate axis you can select all the joints and run this mel command
joint -e -oj xyz

a question about HIK in Maya2011 - does it allow to plot from the HIK-FK/IK rig to the skeleton and then back to the HIK-FK/IK rig (realigning all IK pivots to the actual animation) - as it is possible in Motionbuilder?

please tell me - i'm testing hik in maya for a few weeks so far. i'm getting tired cause of all the faild attemts to retarget one hero character to several animation clips.
please tell me - is that possible within the current maya version?
or shall i retarget a character with several motion clips via trax?!
please i need help!
