Are you using CS5 64 bit?
try using or creating tiff in a lower version of photoshop with layers unchecked..

This is appearing in my OUTPUT Window all of a sudden and I am unable to render - locked up completely:
TIFFReadDirectory: Warning, foo: wrong data type 7 for "RichTIFFIPTC"; tag ignored.
Can someone tell me what this means?
I am utilizing Mental Ray. I am doing a complete enviromental scene. I rendered out a close up of one building, but when I tried rendering a full shot of my scene it has completely stopped rendering since then - 2 days ago.
