I think Maya is really only supported for Fedora or Red Hat anyway (support RPM packages) so I don't think Ubuntu would work for you. (CentOS too but I hear it's a pain)

So, is there a *proper* Fillet tool implementation in Maya 2013 (like there has been in Max) ?

The Current "Fillet" tool is pure rubbish in maya 2012!

Hi, do you know the reason why Autodesk makes these available for students, but only the windows version and not a Linux version?

I use them at the university but I only use Ubuntu at home.
